Ganked from cheydancer and kispexi2:

What type of Fae are you?

I'm a nymph too. even if I change some answers. well, I'm certainly not an elf, dark elf, pixie, or changeling...

I think I've seen nymphs and changelings, mostly, with a couple of Dark Elves and one Elf!

What type of Fae are you?

how enlightening... but... funny too

I feel like I should map all these personality memes we've been doing and see whether they shift similarly from person to person!

(How's the packing going?)

May. 1st, 2008 06:30 pm (UTC)
that sounds like quite the challenge.

(packing is going slow. 'm trying to ignore the stack of unfolded boxes in the corner. bacause, actually I have no place to put the boxex once tey're filled either... it's no fun at all.)

(I remember that stage in packing ... no, not fun at all!)

(BTW, I think I've finally got our travel accommodations set in Copenhagen - I was on the verge of asking you for suggestions, but I think I have it figured out.)

No, no fun at all. At least we're soon moved and a lot of people comes to help^^ and we even got a guy to fix the fish tanks.

That's great, and really, I only have one good advice. Go explore if you wnat to see the city. Get off the main streets and down the alleys and into the small yards. That's where the real Copenhagen is.

Yes, I've moved fish tanks also - what a pain!!! It's good that you have a lot of help coming. So when is moving day?

So what neighborhoods do you like best for roaming around? The Mr. is usually open to some meandering about and in and out of small shops. The B&B we're staying in for the first few days is two streets from the Kongens Nytorv transit station, toward the waterfront. Then the apartment we're sub-letting from my friend Kat's family for the rest of the week is between Enghave and Dybbolsbro transit stations.

We also want to go to Roskilde to see the Viking ships. Do people usually go there by bus?

Moving day is may 17. so, it's not so far away anymore...

Actually, I don't really know the negihborhoods of Copenhagen... by name. My friends and I usually just wander around and when we get lost we take a bus to central. But, for shopping, Strøget is great, if you remember to check out the small alleys and stuff. There's two comic/manga stores around there too, just in case. And if you come around anywhere, where it looks like a store could fit in, there probably is a little store, tugged in between appartments and hairdressers.

unless you have a great interest in Shopping Centers, do waste time on visiting Field's. It's not really worth it.

The neighborhood around Enghave is very much just how the rest of Copenhagen is. It's a quiet place with many nice places to eat and just relax.

From anywhere around Cph, I would choose train to come to Roskilde. Taking the bus is a pain as far as I remember. And while you're there, take some time to go down town, and see the cathedral and the city in general. I has been one of Denmarks largest trade centrals for some 100 years, because it was by water, but still hidden away. It's a wonderful city too.

Hmmm ... when do you feel like you could make plans to meet up? The latter half of the week would probably be better for us. (Or I can e-mail you.)

...when was it again? heh., I forgot to write the dates down.

Well, if we could find something out before monday, it would be great, becasue we have to fix the new work scheldue there.

but you can just mail me^^

I e-mailed you, I think I used the correct address !

I was a nymph. There seems to be a lot of us ;)

There's only about 6 choices, so there's bound to be a lot of overlap!

What type of Fae are you?

I'm not even in a bad mood!
May. 6th, 2008 11:25 am (UTC)

My daughter got that one as well. I have a feeling that's what you get if you answer a bit cynically on some of the questions!

I don't think it's a coincidence that most of the manga-reading moms in this group got the Nymph. There actually is a moderately good correlation among the better quizzes of this type - I have a feeling they're using the same types of source information. I keep wondering whether I should try doing one myself, just so I can see what goes into them.
