So I've become accustomed to products that I like randomly disappearing from the face of the earth.

Like, for example, The Thymes "Green Tea," one of the only fragrances about which I've been unreservedly enthusiastic, and the one that I considered my signature: "Brisk green tea and Moroccan rose warmed with an infusion of spiced honey and soft woods ... ." They stopped making it about 5 years ago. My last bottle of the body lotion is about 75% gone.

And then going through a piled-up stack of mail today, I found a postcard:

GREEN TEA: Back by Popular Demand
Since its retirement, we've heard countless heartfelt please for the return of fan-favorite, Green Tea. You have been heard ... .

I have ordered myself a new bottle of lotion. It was pricey, but I couldn't pass up this second chance.

It's wonderful! I was just using a bit of it today, as a treat!

My hubs long ago decided that my stamp of approval was the kiss of death for just about anything - brand names, restaurants, you name it: if it's slightly off the beaten path, and I form a strong liking for it, you can almost count on it disappearing. So I'm glad for you in this case, because I am quite familiar with the phenomenon!!!

Yes! I was rather surprised when Thymes said there had been so much demand: wow, other people liked it too!
