Photoshop Question

I can load sets of brushes in Photoshop and append them to the end of the current in-use set, but of course, that means the brushes window takes longer and longer to open.

But I don't want to reset the brushes window because I'm still using some of the brushes I loaded.

How do unload just one set at a time? Is it possible?

I've started working on Yuletide icons, so I have a pile of new border brushes that I'm trying. I want to keep the ones that have turned out to be useful (as well as the Easy Elements Snowflake brushes, which I love .... although I have to set the size way down to make them work on usericons).

In the "brushes" tab, where you decide the settings for your graphic tablette and those things, you can take the brush you don't longer need and drag it to the trash bin icon in the lower right corner of the window. At least in the CS version (which is the one I currently use). I've got the CS4, too, I could investigate a little to see if it's the same. Which version do you use? Do you want me to upload a screenshot or something? Is this what you're asking for or did I misunderstand?

Sorry for the delay in responding.

I have the Mac CS4 here and the Windows CS4 at work.

Errrr, yes, I see can take one brush at a time off that way - I didn't know that, thanks!

But that means if I've loaded a big brush pack, I'll have to drag off and trash maybe 20 brushes one at a time. Just for example, I just accidentally re-loaded a big texture brush pack, so now I have it there twice. Oh well, I guess that's just how it works!

How about going to the folder where the brushes are and deleting the pack? Maybe it's too drastic a measure, but if you've got a back-up, maybe it's faster that way? In any case, I'm not a Photoshop expert, so don't pay me too much attention...

In fact, I probably don't know what I'm talking about, so forget I said anything.
