I've been having much too much fun with my icons. At first I felt very protective and parental and didn't want to let any of them go, but now that I have lots of them, I don't mind so much ... and it's very warm and fuzzy to see them show up in other folks' posts.

Some Notes:
9. Lyrics adapted from those of a traditional British folk tune.
10. With apologies to certain boutique popular with Gen Y.
12. Inspired by the Young Lady, who said that Gojyo's going-adventuring wardrobe in the first books made her think of what happens when you let preschoolers dress themselves.
27. Yes, I know, everyone makes an icon out of this picture. But there's so little good Furuba art online. Let me know if you have a pipeline to some more! (And besides, I messed with his mouth a little to make it look more like the manga Hatori.) Lyrics from The Who, of course, in "Tommy."
28. Ummm ... there may be a generation gap issue here. The reference is to Dr. Suess' immortal work On Beyond Zebra.
29. Lyrics from folksinger Carrie Newcomer (song: "It's Not OK")
If there's another one I use regularly that you'd like to have, you can always ask ... (the ones I still feel the most protective about are the Yukimura ones I use regularly), and I love making them by request too.
ETA: And I meant to put all the disclaimers: no hotlinking to my poor Earthlink account, please credit, etc. etc.

Enjoy ... and I can't believe I just solved my own blippin' Furuba art problem: Aethereality Gallery, the same folks who have the second-best SDK art collection (after dear departed SDKPOWAAA) and from whom I've been getting my recent best Saiyuki art.
D'oh!
Well, come and go for me too, but that's because of our goofy office firewall. Try doing a CTRL+RELOAD (that's on IE ... do whatever forces a true reload). If that doesn't work, try clearing your cache (a/k/a deleting temporary internet files).
OK, b3n-chan ... just for you!
pleases?

OK - like this?
(Oh - and you should probably acknoledge that the background is from colorfilter.livejournal.com ...)
I'm taking 10 and 11. You have a few in your user pics that I wondered how you felt like sharing.
In particular I love the two Sanzo "idiot" icons... "Everywhere I go it's idiots as far as the eye can see" and "Losing faith in humanity one idiot at a time." Then there's three others that I adore. I think they might be part of a series... It seems like you have one for each of the Saiyuki boys. Goku- "The cutest kittens have the sharpest claws." Hakkai-" =Intelligence the ultimate aphrodisiac Gojyo- "sex is only dirty if it's done right."
I'm such an icon whore. I love to collect them and bring the perfect one out to match each story I read. And I always credit.
Thanks for sharing your icons and please let me know if any of the others are snatchable. :)
Awww, flattery will get you everywhere - eventually. Give me a couple days to get an icon post together. I want to make another Gaiden icon or so (I made this one today). Then you can grab all you want - the only one I'm currently insisting on holding onto is my "we walk the same line" 585 icon. I love making icons, and I'm running out of room for them on this account unless I get rid of some old favorites.
Yes, actually, the Sanzo "Humanity" icon is really in the same series as the ones you noticed, even thought the art is different. I made it, and then thought "I bet I can find something for each of them." They were slogans from www.nancybuttons.com, which is basically the collected wit and wisdom of 25 years of geeky convention-goers. (Oh, the random slogan generator just came up with a great one while I was grabbing the URL: "Difficult? I can make you pray for difficult!" - maybe for Kanzeon?)
I see you like SDK too! Are you still following it?
:-D
I use that one myself whenever I need to explain something!
No, that's fine, and I'll friend you back in that case - we seem to have at least half a dozen interests in common. I'll warn you, though, that I'm a middle-aged slash-writing she-geek ... .
i got here coz of the google.
and I DO LOVE SDKyo TOO! XDDDDD
ur icons r amazing. may i add u up?
Sure, although there's far more Saiyuki talk than SDK in this space these days ... there are a few more SDK icons in this post. Also, love_deeper community is pretty good with tagging, so you can find lots of icons through them as well.
