What a nice meme! *snags it* I love almost all your icons, but the "happiest" is definitely one of my favorites (and "textless" too, of course).

EEK! Icons all go byebye! :( And I was looking forward to seeing them - especially the animated ones, and the SDK ones (you are the only other person I know interested in that fandom!)

Missing icons: Check 'em out now - all better. Apparently LJ slightly changed the way the userpics are stored between this posts's original date and the present.

I didn't know you like SDK (... did I?)! Man, I wish we'd been talking 20 months or so ago when the series wrapped up. Most of the serious fangirls had been reading the scanlations, and they were already so over the ending, so I had no one much with whom to squee. Who were you favorite characters? What were your favorite bits?

*lol* You know, I am sure I watched the ending of the anime when it was running on tv (I guess I did) - it was one of the first series I watched back when I first started watching anime back in 2007. But honestly, I can't remember how far into it I got, or where it left off... I remembered I really liked it, and earlier this year (or maybe last last year)I started re-watching it now and then online and began buying the manga. Looking at the list of episodes on Wikipedia (which does not give details) I'm not certain I ever saw all 26 - I am certain I made it as far as 18 or 19 - I remember the devil women when they approached the Castle near the end. I do know when I started reading the manga I was struck by how much more complicated and involved the manga is than the anime, and I think I am going to end up liking the manga much better, all things considered. I believe I am as far as the sixth volume of the manga - I got waylaid with buying more of it when I started buying Fullmetal Alchemist - but I will definitely go back to it.

As far as favorite characters, so far I love Benitora, and Akira and Sasuke, as the standouts. Yuuya of course, as a kickass heroine (how can you not love a gal with a gun that big? ^___^ ) I seem to remember we were starting to kill off the Junishinsho, and lost in some kind of forest on the way to a cave to find Kyo's body, when I left off in the manga. Thinking about it all makes me want to go back to it again! Did you ever watch Basilisk? SDK reminded me a little of Basilisk, which I kind of enjoyed when I watched it on tv (although it was kind of gory.) I definitely enjoy those historical ones though.

And thanks for clearing up the icons - I will probably take a couple of those, too! I think I need to go ahead and shell out a few bucks to get more userpics.... >.>
