Just curious - feel free to decline - but how much does a shopping trip like this run you? Just curious because while I love shopping at the farmers market it can be god awful expensive. Much of that is my locale in the northeast I think.

Like blueberries run about $4 a box here. Even though NJ is right next door and is the unofficial blueberry capitol.

No, it's not cheap. I'm aware that I'm privileged to be able to go there and pick out whatever I like.

I'm not sure what size of box you mean, but these were between $5 and $6 a pint, depending on which vendor.

I will note that the market takes Maryland state food stamps.

The big loaf of bread is $5, the minis were $2 and $3. The squash were $2, the potatoes were (I think) $3. I don't remember the prices on the per lb. stuff.

We live in the Washington, DC, area, which is notoriously a pricey place to live, but it's definitely cheaper on groceries than, say, NYC.

DC is pretty pricey even by NYC standards. Luckily, most, if not all farmers markets take food stamps.

I just love farmers markets at this time of year... next weekend I'm hitting the Trenton Farmers Market for fresh honey.:)
